Fruits are Nature´s Medicine Cabinet
Fruits are everywhere. No matter where in the world we live, whether we live in the countryside or in the city, we can always find fruits easily; fresh, canned, dehydrated or even frozen. They provide us with incredible sensory experiences and without even unknowing it, they are also good for our health. We eat them regularly, but we know little of their value. Fruits are nature’s treasure, close at hand, and we eat them daily, we will have a long and healthful life.
I believe strongly in the healing power of fruit because my father lived to be 99 years old and he always enjoyed perfect health. Every day, he ate a plate full of assorted fruits before lunch and he did this since he was a kid. He couldn’t do without them. He loved all fruits but bananas were his favorite.
Fruits should be an essential part of our diet. I invite you to enjoy the benefit fruits provide. Include them in your recipes.
As the old proverb says: “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away”. That could also be said for bananas, kiwis, soursops, pommegranates, lemons and many others.
